In a recent operation at Munich Airport, the Federal Police, one of the largest airport service units in Germany, apprehended a 30-year-old Gambian man. The arrest was made on August 27, following a series of investigations.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed in the available search results, presented a valid Spanish passport during the check-in process. However, the passport was listed in the wanted system, raising suspicion among the authorities. A document specialist was called in to confirm the doubts, and further investigation revealed that the photo in the passport did not match the man's appearance.

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Landshut had issued a warrant for the seizure of the man's assets due to misuse of identification documents in the amount of several thousand euros. Additionally, there was a warrant for his arrest from the Public Prosecutor's Office in Würzburg due to violation of an active entry and residence ban.

The man now faces several charges for suspicion of misuse of identification documents, illegal entry, illegal residence, fraud, obtaining services by deception, and illegal exercise of a profession. After being unable to pay the demanded substitute fine, he was taken into custody at the end of the police measures and transferred to the detention center in Erding.
