Gaming company G2E to debut dealer championship event
The gaming industry is gearing up for an exciting event at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2025 in Las Vegas. This year, the expo will host the inaugural G2E Dealer Championship, a competition that aims to recognise the professionalism and talent driving the industry forward.
Organised by RX and presented by the American Gaming Association, the G2E Dealer Championship is open to full-time, part-time, and dual-rate dealers employed at land-based or online regulated casino operators in the United States. Contestants will showcase their skills by dealing blackjack and traditional roulette for 15 minutes, with evaluations based on technical skills, hospitality, and game control.
The competition promises to be dynamic and engaging, highlighting the vital role casino dealers play in the gaming experience. Participants will compete for the title of the best dealer in America, with the event featuring cash prizes for the top three competitors.
Based on the number of participants, the competition will feature a series of elimination rounds to determine the champion and runners-up. Each casino property may nominate one participant per operator property, with no more than four properties per enterprise considered for participation.
The G2E Dealer Championship is inspired by and in collaboration with the European Casino Association's European Dealer Championship. United States Playing Card Company is listed as the title sponsor for the event, with Gasser Chair Company Inc. serving as a supporting sponsor.
Every participating dealer must be accompanied by a table games executive from the same property, who will also serve as a judge during the event. Entry for dealers requires nomination through their employer.
